“Ashes on the Go” for Ash Wednesday

Fr. Jamie will once again offer  "ashes on the go" and give ashes out to anyone who might not be able to make it to the Ash Wednesday Eucharist that evening. He will be offering ashes at the church on Ash Wednesday March 5 from 12:00 to 3:00 p.m. and again from 5:00 to 6:30.

Farewell to the Alleluia/Burning of the Palms

On Tuesday March 4 at 7:00 p.m., Fr. Jamie will officiate at a brief service in which we bid farewell to and “bury” the Alleluia. At the end of the liturgy, there will be a short process to the front of the church where we will have a Burning of the Palms liturgy. This Burning of the Palms liturgy will be held in front of the church, outdoors. The ashes from these palms will be used to make ashes for the Ash Wednesday mass the following evening.

Please be sure to bring the blessed palms you saved from previous year’s Palm Sunday Eucharist. A basket is provided in the narthex for these palms throughout the month of February.

Ash Wednesday

Ash Wednesday Eucharist will be held on Wednesday March 5 at 7:00 pm

Upcoming Events:

March 4 – Mardi Gras / Shrove Tuesday /Burning of Palms

March 5 – Ash Wednesday/Burying the Alleluia
