RIP, Louie

The Prayers of St. Stephen’s are request for the repose of the soul of Louie Crew Clay, who died this evening (November 27, 2019) In New Jersey.

Louie was the founder of Integrity, the LGBTQ+ organization of the Episcopal Church.

Please also keep Louie’s husband, Ernest , in your prayers at this time.

Louiee was a dear friend to several of us at St. Stephen’s. He even visited St. Stephen’s November 19, 2005. Here is a photo (Taken by Fr. Jamie) during that visit when he posed Steve Bolduc, our current Senior Warden.

May Light perpetual shine upon Louie; and may his soul rest in peace and rise in glory.

Bishop Keith visits St. Stephen's

We had a truly wonderful morning welcoming Bishop Keith Whitmore and his wife Suzie to St. Stephen's. We also celebrated the Confirmation of Deanna, the Reception of Lily, and the Reaffirmation of Dinah. The church was full but cozy and the potluck after Mass was amazing! Thank you, Bishop Keith, for your care and concern for us!

It was a beautiful All Saints Sunday at St. Stephen's. Earlier we celebrated the baptisms of Cameron and Clarke. And during Mass Natalie and Madison announced their engagement.
