The
prayers of St. Stephen’s are request for Elizabeth
“Betty” Spur, who is nearing the end of her earthly journey. I visited her late
this evening, anointed her, prayed her favorite Psalm (121) with her and
commended her to the embrace of her loving God.
Your
prayers are requested for her children and their families at this time as well.
Almighty God, look on your loved
one, Betty, and comfort her with
the promise of life everlasting,
given in the resurrection of your Son Jesus Christ
our Lord. Amen.
