A Celebration of the Life of Hale Laybourn has been scheduled for 11:00 am Thursday, October 14 at St. Stephen’s.
Committal of ashes will be at a later date in the Columbarium of St. Mark’s Episcopal Church, in Cheyenne, Wyoming.
Hale, a long-time member of St. Stephen's when he and his wife Barbara lived in Fargo, died September 16, 2010 in Fort Collins, CO. While in Fargo, he was President of Blue Cross Blue Shield from 1965-1986. He and Barbara were also instrumental in starting the Fargo-Moorhead Civic Opera Company.
