The week of July 12

Greetings,

It has been a surprisingly busy summer at St. Stephen’s. Something always seems to be happening on any given day. Summers usually seem to be down-time but not so this year. Before we know it, it will be time to be gearing up for Fall once again. When the Vestry met yesterday, we shared some interesting and exciting ideas for St. Stephen’s in the Fall, which I will share as we formulate them more.

In the midst of all this busyness, I decided to squeeze a bit of vacation in at the end of this week. Pastor Mark Strobel of St. Mark’s Lutheran Church in Fargo will cover next Sunday's Eucharist and any pastoral emergencies that may arise. I’ll be gone from Thursday July 15 through Sunday the 18th. Senior Warden Laura Nylander will check the messages at the church, so please feel free to contact her (233-6016) if you need anything pastorally.

- peace,Fr. Jamie+
