VOLUNTEERS NEEDED/CHILDREN’S CHAPEL

Volunteers are needed to serve as assistants for Children's Chapel.  Our Safe Church policy requires that two adults must be present for any activity involving children.  Assistants are not required to do any advance preparation for the lessons but may be asked to assist the leader during a session.  Serving as the second adult is the primary duty of an assistant.  Persons who have not served as an assistant in the past will be required to take an online training session on the Safe Church policy.  Service will be infrequent as a substitute.  If you are willing to serve in this role please contact Fr. Jamie (frjamieparsley@gmail.com) or Katie Sando (puppynanny623@gmail.com).

Words of Wisdom:

Perhaps you were created for such a time as this. ~Esther 4:14

From the Green Team:

Organic food is grown in a way that is easier on the planet and possibly better for you.

Be careful with labels like “all-natural.” It’s not a regulated term.

Save more on organic food by using coupons and meal planning to avoid food waste.

Buy local. Have a farmers market? Use it. The farmers love to tell you how it is grown and a lot of times you will find foods grown organically just not certified. And you cut the C02 because it’s not being shipped as far.

Don’t use bottled water. Most of it is just processed tap water anyway.

Use real dishes. You will save money and is it really that hard to wash some dishes?

Use reusable containers instead of disposable baggies.
