Good to know:

June is Pride month to celebrate the LGBTQIA+ community. Pride Day is celebrated on June 28 every year. June 28, 1969, marks the beginning of the Stonewall Uprising, a series of events between police and LGBTQ+ protesters that stretched over six days. It was not the first-time police raided a gay bar, and it was not the first time LGBTQ+ people fought back, but the events that would unfold over the next six days would fundamentally change the nature of LGBTQ+ activism in the United States. Click this link for information about Pride month and the Episcopal church: https://www.episcopalchurch.org/who-we-are/lgbtq/

From the Green Team:

A lawn has significant environmental impacts. All that watering, fertilizing, mowing and pest control exact a toll on the planet, so minimize how much of your yard is devoted to lawn.

Upcoming:

June 11 – The 22nd anniversary of Fr. Jamie’s ordination to the Priesthood.
