Please continue to keep the repose of her soul in your prayers. Please also pray for her loved ones at this time.

Marlys’ full obituary can be found below:

Marlys Jane Lundberg died peacefully in her sleep on June 10, 2017 at her home in northern California.

In 1946 Marlys married Stanley C. Ford. They made their home in Enderlin, ND, Mason City, IA and Fargo, ND where they raised their four children.

After the death of her husband Stanley, Marlys went to work in the district office for US Senator Quintin Burdick and was a part of the US Senate district staff until her retirement.
In 1977, Marlys married Fargo attorney and vintage car aficionado, Lowell W. Lundberg. They made their home in Fargo, ND and Mesa AZ.

Marlys was a proud member of St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church in Fargo. The family is touched and honored to have the Reverend Jamie Parsley preside over Marlys’ celebration of life at the Hanson-Runsvold Funeral Home.

Marlys is survived by her two children, Stephanie [Luigi] Paruccini and James [Ellen] Ford. In addition to her two children, Marlys is survived by two sisters, nine grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Prayers for the repose of the soul of Marlys Lundberg

The prayers of St. Stephen’s are requested for the repose of the soul of Marlys Lundberg, who died on June 10 in Yuba City, California.

Marlys was a deeply loved, long-time and very devoted member of St. Stephen’s, and a close friend of many of us.  She will be deeply missed.

Please pray for her family at this time as well.

A memorial service will be held in Fargo at a later date, with burial of ashes at Riverside Cemetery, Fargo, next to her husband, Lowell. I will share information when those plans are finalized.

Gracious God,
nothing in death or life,
in the world as it is or the world as it shall be,
nothing in all creation can separate us from your love.
We commend Marlys into your loving care.
Enfold
her in the arms of your mercy.
Bless
her in her dying and in her rising again in you.
Bless those whose hearts are filled with sadness,
that they too may know the hope of resurrection;
for the sake of our Saviour Jesus Christ.
Amen.

May her soul and the souls of all the departed, through the
mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen.

Pentecost Baptisms

It was wonderful to baptize Jaxon and Noah Cole today. Grandma Kathie Durben was very proud of them (and rightly so).
Congratulations to Kelson Demmons on his first Sunday as acolyte. He is the first in a new corps of young acolytes at St. Stephen's.

Pentecost

(Before Mass) It's looking very Pentecostal at St. Stephen's
