Chili Cook-Off Sunday,
Oct. 22:
We
can’t wait to taste the chilis prepared by St. Stephen’s cooks. Spicy, tame,
meaty or vegan—all are contenders for Best Chili. If you plan to bring a pot of
chili, please message John Baird (jbaird01@gmail.com) or Catherine McMullen (mcmulcat@gmail.com).
Words of Wisdom:
On
this day when light and darkness are equal, may you find the balance you need
in your life, and may your Autumn harvest basket be bountiful.
From the Green Team:
Some
eco-friendly ideas include using biodegradable cutlery, bamboo picnicware,
reusable paper towels, silicone or stainless-steel straws, reusable sandwich
bags, compostable paper plates, waterless laundry detergent strips, countertop
composters, and upcycled furniture.
