At the close of our Annual Requiem Mass tonight we processed out to the Memorial Garden where lighted candles mark each of the graves of those whose ashes are buried there. It's a beautiful and powerful close to a beautiful and powerful liturgy in which those reading the names of the departed often choked up or broke down in tears.
