Thank you!

It was a glorious Easter at St. Stephen’s!

The services were beautifully executed, stress-free and well-attended.

For our liturgies to be what they are here at St. Stephen’s, many people both before and behind the scenes worked hard.

I would like to sincerely thank everyone who worked hard this past week to make our liturgies work smoothly.  Thank you to our acolytes, lectors, eucharistic ministers, flower organizers, ushers, and those who cleaned up after the services. You all made these liturgies run smoothly.

Thank you especially thank you to our organist James Mackay, who proved us with some incredible music. Thank you to Michelle Gelinske for cantoring and paul Sando for his trumpet music on Easter morning. Thank you also for those who took photos, who shared events on social media and those who invited friends and loved ones to our church during this week.

Thank you especially to Sandy Holbrook for the wonderful Altar Guild job setting up, taking down and polishing.

Thank you to Jean Sando for the hard work on our beautiful new dossal screen (there were so many glowing comments about it on Easter morning). Thank you to Gin Temple for picking out the fabric for it.

I am personally grateful for each of you.

Our Easter morning was packed. Thank you especially to everyone who worshipped and shared their presence.

Although I am physically exhausted after this week of activity, (which also included several pastoral visits and a few other unforeseen situations) please know I am so grateful to be serving such a vibrant, amazing and committed congregation as St. Stephen’s.

St. Stephen’s showed yet again that it was a worshipping community, striving to live out in its life the commission of the Risen Christ.
