Thank
you to everyone who made Sunday a truly wonderful day. It was a great
morning! The church was packed to the rafters, there were lots of visitors and
friends, Bishop Michael preached an entertaining sermon, my ordination vows were
dutifully renewed and our beautiful baptismal bowl (which was still ticking
after its last firing) was duly consecrated. And Fr. Jamie got specially doused
with holy water by Bishop Michael.
Thank
you to Bishop Michael for his presence and
humor.
Thank
you to the vestry for their kind gifts to both Bishop Michael and me.
Thank
you to our acolytes, torchbearers, worship leader, lector, cantor and everyone
for their hard work.
And
thank you to everyone for your presence, your cards, gifts and kindness to
me.
It
