Happy Feast of the Ascension of Our Lord.

Almighty God, whose blessed Son our Savior Jesus Christ ascended far above all heavens that he might fill all things: Mercifully give us faith to perceive that, according to his promise, he abides with his Church on earth, even to the end of the ages; through Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, in glory everlasting. The bell arrives at St. Stephens!

The bell has arrived! Thank you to Steve Bolduc, Justin Rudnick and Paul Sando for their hard work lugging it into its temporary place before the bell tower is in place. Thank you especially to Dinah Stephens for her wonderful donation in memory of her daughter Jada, and Dennis for bringing it all the way from Michigan (which included a ferry ride).

On Sunday May 5th we buried the ashes of Gary McDaniel in the St. Stephen's Memorial Garden. Matties, Eloise and Johannes helped with the committal.

Gary McDaniel Requiem

The Requiem Mass for Gary McDaniel will be this evening at 6:00 p.m. but because of inclement weather, we will postpone the committal of his ashes in the Memorial Garden and do so at 1:00 p.m. Sunday afternoon.

Gary's ashes were found abandoned about a year ago. He will now rest with us.
