Prayers for the repose of the soul of Sharon "Angel" Brekke

The Prayers of St. Stephen’s are requested for the repose of the soul of Sharon “Angel” Brekke who died March 25, 2015.

Angel was a long-time member of St. Stephen's. She and her husband Scott were married at St. Stephen's on August 24, 2013.

Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m., with a prayer service at 6:30 p.m., Monday at Anderson Family Funeral Home in Mahnomen, Minn. The funeral will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at Samuel Memorial Church in Naytahwaush, Minn. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Almighty God, our Father in heaven, before whom live all 
who die in the Lord: Receive our sister Angel into the courts of 
your heavenly dwelling place. Let her heart and soul now ring 
out in joy to you, O Lord, the living God, and the God of 
those who live. This we ask through Christ our Lord. Amen.

Rest eternal grant to her, O Lord; and let Light perpetual shine upon her.

May her soul, and the souls of all the departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. 

Prayers for the repose of the soul of Pat Butler

The prayers of St. Stephen’s are requested for the repose of the soul of Patricia Butler, who died last evening (March 25, 2015).

Pat was a very committed member our congregation since 1957. 

Please also keep her children and their families in your prayers at this time. 

The funeral service will be Thursday, April 2 at 10:30 at St. Stephen's. Burial will follow at Riverside Cemetery, Fargo.  

Into your hands, O merciful Savior, we commend your 
servant Patricia. Acknowledge, we humbly beseech you, a sheep of 
your own fold, a lamb of your own flock, a sinner of your 
own redeeming. Receive him into the arms of your mercy, 
into the blessed rest of everlasting peace, and into the 
glorious company of the saints in light. Amen.

May her soul and the souls of all the departed, through the 
mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen.
