 O God, you have taught us through your blessed Son that whoever receives a little child in the name of Christ receives Christ himself: We give thanks for the blessing you have bestowed upon Regina and John in giving them Cohan. Confirm their joy by a lively sense of your presence with them, and give them calm strength and patient wisdom as they seek to bring Cohan to love all that is true and noble, just and pure, lovable and gracious, excellent and admirable, following the example of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Amen.

Prayers for the repose of the soul of Leonard Moen

The prayers of St. Stephen’s are requested for the repose of the soul of Leonard Moen, who died July 20, 2014.

A Requiem Mass for local relatives will be held on Tuesday, July 22 at St. Stephen’s for him.

A funeral will be held on Thursday, July 24 in St. Cloud.

Prayers are requested also for his wife, Josie, his children, and his local in-laws, Anne and Charles Stevens and their family.

Rest eternal grant to him, O Lord; and let light perpetual shine upon him.

May his soul, and the souls of all the departed through the mercy of God rest in peace.
